검색해보니까 가능한거 같네요. 처음 로딩시 safe graphics mode로 로그인해서 그래픽 드라이버를 업데이트 해주면 될거라는군요.

Back up, uninstall your video driver (and perhaps other special hardware drivers), move your drive,
set your Ubuntu drive to boot first in your BIOS, run
sudo update-grub
and install the appropriate video driver
